Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Ontario?

No. In Ontario, you can see a chiropractor directly without a doctor's referral. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement — check your policy before your first visit.

How many chiropractic sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition. Acute injuries may resolve in 4–8 sessions, while chronic conditions may require ongoing maintenance care. After your initial assessment, your chiropractor will give you a realistic treatment plan and timeline.

Is chiropractic care covered by OHIP or insurance?

Chiropractic services are not covered by OHIP. However, most extended health benefit plans (through employers or private insurers) provide coverage. We direct bill to most major insurance providers. Motor vehicle accident (MVA) and WSIB claims are also accepted.

Is chiropractic adjustment safe?

Yes. Chiropractic adjustments are safe when performed by a licensed professional. Our chiropractors conduct a thorough assessment before any treatment, and always tailor techniques to your specific condition, age, and comfort level.

Can chiropractic help with headaches?
